What does this tool check?+

We pull your Google Business Profile data and compare it against competitors in your trade and city. We check your rating, review count, whether you have a phone number listed, whether your hours are set, your website speed, and how you rank against other contractors in your area. Everything is scored and broken into quick wins you can do yourself and bigger improvements where we can help.

How is the score calculated?+

Your overall score is based on four categories: Google presence (rating, reviews, hours, phone), website quality (speed, mobile, security, click-to-call), market position (how you compare to local competitors), and lead capture (forms, CTAs, after-hours messaging). Each category is weighted based on how much it affects whether a homeowner calls you or your competitor.

Will this affect my Google listing?+

No. We only read publicly available data from Google, the same information any customer sees when they search for you. We don't modify your listing, and we don't need access to your Google account.

Why do I need to enter my city?+

Google ranks local businesses based on proximity and local competition. A plumber with 50 reviews in a small town is dominant. The same plumber with 50 reviews in Houston is average. Your city determines who your real competitors are and what 'good' looks like in your market.

What if my business doesn't show up?+

If we can't find your business, it usually means your Google Business Profile isn't claimed or isn't fully set up. That's actually the most important finding: if Google can't find you, neither can customers. We'll show you who IS ranking in your area so you can see what you're competing against.
