Frequently asked questions

What does this tool check? +

We check 10 things that matter most for contractor websites: click-to-call phone links, mobile-friendliness, SSL security, page speed, call-to-action buttons, reviews and testimonials, title and meta description, contact forms, HTTP redirect, and page size. Each check is scored and combined into a letter grade.

Will this affect my website? +

No. We only read your public homepage, just like any visitor would. We don't modify anything, install anything, or access any private data. The analysis is completely read-only.

How is the score calculated? +

Each check is worth a certain number of points, weighted by importance. Click-to-call is worth the most (20 points) because most contractor customers search on their phone and want to call immediately. Mobile-friendliness and SSL are 15 each. Speed is 15. Conversion elements like CTAs and reviews make up the rest.

What grade should I aim for? +

Aim for a B or above (75+). The most critical items are click-to-call, mobile-friendliness, and SSL. If those three pass, you're already ahead of most competitors. After that, focus on speed and adding trust signals like reviews.

Can I test my site more than once? +

Yes, up to 3 times per day for the same domain. This lets you make fixes and re-test to see your score improve.
